Vintage Clothing Re-Do

I have to admit, I am more often than not disappointed at the size of vintage clothing. It seems as if it is always too long, too wide, or something of the sort. I have been getting better at hemming things but that is as far as my sewing talents will take me.

I am always inspired by Rachel Red Lips, who deconstructs vintage clothing to make patterns. She really has a knack for it! She her latest pattern [here]

Last week I found someone who is taking vintage clothing re-do's to another level. From the blog IS LY Melissa hems and takes in and reconstructs vintage fashions like a pro. Here was my favorite before and after: Springtime Refashion

    Thanks so much for the shout out and for pointing me in the direction of Rachel Red Lips. I've not heard of her before but I'm in love with her blog & her *closing* etsy shop. Trying to decide if I should buy something or not. ;)
