My husband and I have been drinking smoothies for lunch fairly often lately. I really enjoy how healthy they are. I would never eat this many servings of fruit a day if it were not for a smoothie! [and I always add a cup of plain, non fat yogurt to add protein and calcium]
Foodies sites, like Shutterbean, have posted about green smoothies that use green vegetables. [like kale and such] I have never had a smoothie with vegetables in it, I am not sure I would like it. I did find some some pretty interesting books on line
I'll stick to my all fruit smoothies for now...
