Wallpaper

Le sigh. I love this wallpaper from Hygge & West. I would love to change my entire bedroom just for it! Right after we moved into our home, my husband and I wallpapered one wall in our bedroom. I thought the concept was fairly wild, but now I love it! I want to do it in every room! This is a photo of our bedroom. I would love to get some new lampshades and some more pillows for the bed. As for the wallpaper, I am still in love with it.The lamp shade I covet most is one from Tif Fussell's home, creator of DottieAngel, who makes the most inspiring crafts. Here is a photo of it. A little bedroom inspiration...

I found a great photo gallery on Martha Stewart.com about bedroom decorating. I love this blue/aqua oasis one! Its a dream. The lines of the wallpaper headboard are just so unique and inspiring.

I love the sunshine yellow glow to the wooden chair and the great aqua and yellow accents on the bedding. So fresh and clean and there is no frill and no fuss with the window treatment!Another inspiring color pallet! Gray, pink, light green and dark green. This one is particularly nice, with both oval and rectangle frames intertwined.

My only extra though, why is marthastewart.com's photo tag so ugly? [see above image] Is is so not a Martha Stewart typeface!

Vintage Wallpaper

So, the vintage/graphic lover inside me prompted me to search for vintage wallpaper this afternoon. I am always blown away by the graphics of yesteryear. I think we are only recently getting back to a higher standard of graphics for our homes. I have always been attracted to pattern, but ever so much more to vintage patterns.

I wanted to share a few items that I thought were really creative. Sydney Designs over @ Etsy has created quite an impressive array of vintage wallpaper greeting cards. I think it is a great way to preserve vintage graphics, as they could be sent to a friend with a friendly note or framed for your wall! Another great seller, Shabby Vintage Mom @ Etsy has found another creative way to display vintage wallpaper. This adorable little wall hanging as all things I love! [brown, pink, botanical]
Lastly, these gift tags from Butter and Sugar @ etsy are just too cute not to share! Sweet circles of vintage wall paper attached to a kraft paper colored tag. I also love the simple twine! The price is also great, only $2.50!
