Danish Modern & Thrift

Lamp: Peacock Envy Dishes: Haus Proud Green Untinsels: Ebay Pink Planter: 5 Gardenias

I have been on a super mid century/danish modern kick lately. My mom used to go to many, many auctions and she said they used to give that era of "stuff" away for next to nothing! Now its back in style again, I suppose, as it is gaining popularity. [maybe due to great shows like Mad Men]
Ah, I want the desk, the phone, the typewriter, the desk lamp, the planter, the dresses! Weee.

I was watching this amazing Seth Thomas Mid Century wall clock on ebay and I never bid. [ebay is not the best of places anymore.. le sigh] It actually never sold, so I believe I will keep my eyes open for it again.

It was also a wonderful morning at my local thrift store. It was their community days, so all items in the store were 1/2 off! I found this amazing mid century modern letter holder. Its just too cool. I think the ears are missing, but it is still unique. I am debating about giving this guy away! [in the shop now]

There was also a great set of Mid Century tree wall hangings. I have this one in the shop.
