Vintage Fabric Friday

It is time for Vintage Fabric + Button Fridays. This week I have two pieces of beautiful vintage feed sack fabric from the 1940s. I salvaged the pieces from a tattered and stained bedspread. I can just picture it being used and loved for years on a farmhouse style bed. So sweet!

Baby Quilt

What an adorable find this warm and spring morning! A vintage baby quilt backed with vintage bow patterned feed sack fabric. Sigh. Its so sweet. It is already in the [shop]

Feeling Inspired.

Staring at my lace and vintage fabric scraps today I became very inspired. I paged through the slips in my closet and chose this lovely number to embellish. It is not hard to create something so beautiful with a great base color, like this slip! The aqua is so bright and lovely and looks just down right sweet with the touches of pink lace.
