Crafting.

Summer is wonderful. I feel like I get so much more done. This afternoon I found a project on Martha Stewart.com [here] about how to use an old pillowcase to create a tote bag. Cute! If there is one thing I have, its vintage pillowcases. Now, I found the directions to be somewhat difficult, so after pondering, making mistakes, breaking a needle, and Pete having to fix my machine, this is what I came up with.I think that once I can get a little better, they might pop up in one of my shops sometime soon! I want to add some embellishments, like buttons or rick rack and I need to get better at my sewing! They would be perfect for a quick trip to the grocery store, post office, or farmer's market.
