I found the artist Hannah Waldron via seesew this morning. She is completely, truly reminiscent of the mid cnetury era. I love it.

New Idea in the Shop

I had a new idea for my frame/vintage illustration shop OliveSomeDay. I often find images that are so unique and beautiful, but do not fit inside one of my vintage frames. I tried last summer mounting these images inside a mat, but no one seemed to want them. So, this summer I came up with the diy wall hanging. Each kit contains at least three images, mounted on card stock, string, hook eyes, and mini clothespins for hanging.
I think it is a great affordable, fun, and fresh way to hang art on your wall!

Here is a new baby item in my vintage shop. This adorable little dress is in amazing condition. Its too cute!

Books

I rescued two lovely books from hitting the dumpster at my school today! They just happened to be illustrated by Evaline Ness! [only a major favorite] It was so nice to know that they would have a good home, even if they fall to getting cut up and framed, they will be loved.

New Frame in the Shop

I adore this new frame I just re-constructed! I almost don't want to give it up. Cute city scene of children looking out of their windows in a tiny city row of homes. I love the black birds hanging out in the trees! In the shop now!
